BTS has canceled its planned world tour concert in Seoul in April due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. Big Hit Entertainment announced through its fan community "BTS Weverse" on Feb. 28 that the "BTS Map of the Sol Tour - Seoul" performance, which was scheduled to take place on April 11, 12, 18 and 19 at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex, has been canceled. "If we consider the health and safety of 200,000 visitors and artists, and if we have to cancel it due to the impending performance date, the damage to overseas visitors, performance-related companies and staff can increase, so we inevitably decided to cancel it at this time, about a month ahead of the concert schedule," he added. Tickets previously reserved will be refunded in full sequential order, Big Hit said.
Having released its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," BTS planned to perform four concerts at the Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul as the first concert of its world tour to be held in April.
